Nurses

The Practice Nursing Sisters can be seen by appointment at each surgery. They carry out immunizations for all age groups, travel vaccinations, ear syringing, dressings, removal of stitches, cervical smears and the provision of contraceptive advice. They also run routine blood pressure diabetic and specialized asthma and COPD clinics.

The Nurse Practitioner/PMS Cardiac Nurse and the Hypertension Specialist Nurse run specialized clinics for those suffering from chest and heart problems. They see patients who are referred to them by the doctors. Their clinics are by appointment only.
