Missed your HPV Vaccinations at School – Ages 16-24

The NHS in Dorset is offering you a FREE HPV vaccination at locations across Poole, Bournemouth and Dorset this February and March.
If you’re 16-24 you may be eligible. Read more below.

Genital warts
HPV-related cancers like penile, anal, vaginal, cervical, and throat cancer

Who can come to a drop in clinic for their HPV vaccination?
• Females born on or after 1 September 1991 (up to age 24)
• Males born on or after 1 September 2006 (up to age 16, 17 and some 18 year olds)
If you are transgender and between the age 16 – 24 you are eligible for the HPV vaccination.

Why get the HPV vaccination?
HPV is a common sexually transmitted infection. With the right vaccination, you can reduce your risk of developing HPV related cancers and genital warts.
Where and when?
The NHS will be visiting locations across Bournemouth, Poole and Dorset.
We want to make sure everyone who needs the vaccination gets it. This includes people not in education and those with learning disabilities. That’s why we’re working with schools, employers, and community groups.

How to get your vaccination
Simply visit a walk-in vaccination clinic in February or March. You don’t need an appointment—just come along and get vaccinated on the spot. It only take a few minutes.
